KLR650 2008 to current
Kawasaki KLR650 Fork Springs to Suit Gen II and Gen III KLR by Cogent Dynamics USA.
Kawasaki KLR650 suspension upgrades – KLR650 straight rate fork springs.
NOTE – The new Gen 3 already has .75 kg straight rate springs in the forks so using either of the Gen 2 springs will result in a reduction in spring rate. Fine if that’s what’s needed and at 70kg what I would need to do !
Sold in pairs.
Riders should also look to add fork valves, the DDC fork valve will transform your bike to another level, highly recommended.
NOTE – Rick owner of Cogent Dynamics in North Carolina is considered the guru when it comes to KLR suspension, we sell a LOT of springs, fork valves, pre load caps and Moab rear shocks, all of course are listed under this same category ‘suspension’
” Regarding the forks on the KLR the .64 covers 80% of every rider with the .70 used for the bigger guys.
We experimented with a 300 pound (140 Kilo) rider and went up to an .80kg spring and he still liked the .64 better ”
Rick – Cogent Dynamics
NOTE – you are purchasing straight rate fork springs, a generic image is used.
