If there’s one thing I know it’s handlebar bends. Most buyers on here are looking for a bar to suit enduro/trail riding or adventure/general riding. The standard bars on most of the old school bikes are useless, steel, heavy, with a low bend and too much sweep.
We stock several handlebars from 7/8″ to 1 1/8″ Tapered bars to these newer Adventure bars ! If using high bar risers or the highest of bars you may need to reroute your cables subject to what bike you own.
Below is an example of the useless bars that came on these older style trail and enduro bikes, old heavy steel, too low, too much bend, bin em !

NOTE – generally no you do not need to get longer cables made !! most reroute their cables to free them up giving additional length
NOTE – yes ALL handlebars are 7/8″ inch measurement at the grip end !
NOTE – DR/DRZ riders pays to add a new throttle tube at the same time of purchase, select your choice of grip and add some grip wire, you’ll find them listed under the same category ‘controls’
NOTE – highly recommend adding the best Heated Grips at time of purchase also, US Symtec Heat Demon Heated Grips, clearly listed under ‘lighting/electrical’ you will thank us for that advise later !

Perfect amount of sweep, a tiny bit wider for fitting things on bar and a much more comfy rise at the end of bar, renthal don’t seem to have anything that matches the measurements of this bar.
If you are looking at the usual popular renthal bars, this is those, but improved IMO. Good sweep for wrist comfort but not to the point of a sport bike bar and still perfectly useable offroad, they nailed the measurements I think.
On the dr650 with the ‘warp 9’ 2 inch risers I got these to work but only just, to the point I was tempted to take the risers off and machine them down by 10mm, turn your throttle mount upside down and the clutch cable you have to take it out entirely and route it with a more gentle curve coming up from the bottom, moving carb breathers and near the top running it outside the risers but above triple tree , I found expanding the cable length with the adjuster nut first helped.
It is fiddley though but I can lock to lock without it pulling the clutch
